Mahabharata: Yuddhakanta

Witness the formation before the war

Hear the count of the Pandava akshauhinis

Hear the count of the Kaurava akshauhinis

Both armies arrayed. Walk forward to begin the war

Walk Krishna through the gate into the Kuru court

Pause and observe the elders as they sit in counsel

Step onto the plinth and deliver the peace appeal

Hear Duryodhana refuse

Witness the embassy end — war is locked in

Hear the conches blow across Kurukshetra

Drive the chariot along the Pandava line

Draw the bow; aim with restraint

Day 1 closes. Witness the day-end

Hold the Pandava line under Bhishma's pressure

Reinforce threatened positions; rescue isolated allies

Disciplined aim — one arrow, one purpose

Day 2 closes. The Pandavas held the line

Avoid the elephant lane; retreat from the rumbling advance

Counter-charge the Kaurava advance

Day 3 closes. Elephants trampled but the line held

Drive the Pandava counter-attack

Protect the Pandava command structure

Day 4 closes. Pandava counter-pressure succeeded

Sustain the line through heroic duels

Enter the duel window; parry and counter

Day 5 closes. The duels fell even

Hold the duel windows; don't break the line

Day 6 closes. Heroes duelled. Both sides bled

Guard vulnerable command units

Rescue a fallen king from the line

Day 7 closes. The line was protected

Heavy-attack lane with Bhima — grief and source warning

Day 8 closes. Bhima's fury shook the Kaurava line

Withstand the crisis — Bhishma does NOT fall yet

Withstand the barrage — Day 10 is the fall, not today

Day 9 closes. The crisis was held. Tomorrow falls

Place Shikhandin before Bhishma. Source-locked positioning

Fire the arrows that bring Bhishma down. He does not strike Shikhandin. The fall is fixed

Witness Bhishma on the bed of arrows — first Kaurava commander falls

Drona takes command. New formation pressure begins

Capture threat — rescue Yudhishthira from a tightening Kaurava net

Day 11 closes. Drona's command is set

Split attention — charge the diversion lane while protecting the king

Day 12 closes. Drona's diversionary tactics stalled the Pandavas

Watch Drona array the Chakravyuha. Abhimanyu knows the entry but not the exit

Inside the formation. Multiple Kaurava warriors close in. Blocked support

Abhimanyu falls. The fixed tragic outcome. Witness the grief — no triumphant sting

Hear Arjuna swear the vow: Jayadratha by sunset or self-immolation

Krishna engineers the solar eclipse to extend the day. Race the sun

Behead Jayadratha at the fall of the sun. The vow is honoured. No celebratory sting

Day 14 closes. The vow is honoured, the cost is real

Drona asks Yudhishthira: 'Is Ashvatthama dead?'

Hear Yudhishthira's half-lie ('the elephant'). Dhrishtadyumna cuts the bow. Drona lays down arms

Drona falls. Ashvatthama escapes with grief. No triumphant sting — silence + restrained

Karna assumes command. New pressure on the Pandavas

Hero duels. Karna cuts Arjuna's bow. Duel windows open

Day 16 closes. Karna is fierce. Tomorrow, the duel

Karna invokes the Nagastra. Aim counter: Krishna presses the wheel

Karna's wheel sinks. The curse triggers. Krishna signals — Arjuna fires

Karna falls. The cost on both sides is real. No victory music

The Kaurava army collapses. Duryodhana hides in a lake. The mace duel approaches

Mace duel. Heavy-but-sparse impacts. Krishna signals — strike the thigh

Bhima strikes the thigh. Duryodhana falls. Balarama condemns. The cost is contested

Night falls. The Pandava camp sleeps. Ashvatthama wakes with grief and fury

Horror. Memorial only. No reward

Gandhari's lament. The women of both sides come to the field

Kunti's confession: Karna is the eldest Pandava. Yudhishthira falls

Draupadi's lament. The closest to rage. Bind the Kuru women, do not bind grief

The war ends in grief, not victory. The funeral. The fall is complete

Sustain the duel windows; don't break the line

Parry the Kaurava counter-charge — Duryodhana's brothers rally

Rescue Yudhishthira from a tightening Kaurava pincer
