Privacy Policy

ELGODS does not use any analytics, trackers, or fingerprinting technology. We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, GoatCounter, or any other tracking service. Your visit is not logged in any identifiable way beyond standard server logs retained briefly for operational purposes.

ELGODS sets no cookies of its own. All site state (bookmarks, saved preferences) lives in your browser's localStorage on your device.

When you save an entry to your bookmarks, that data is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It is never transmitted to our servers. If you clear your browser's localStorage or use a different device, your bookmarks will not be present — use the Export / Import buttons on the Saved page to move them between devices.

We store the following data locally: entry identifier (category/slug), display name, subtitle, and timestamp.

ELGODS is deployed on Railway, which may collect basic server-side logs for infrastructure purposes. We do not control Railway's data practices.

Fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Fraunces, Cinzel, Inter) are loaded from Google Fonts; Google may log the request for font delivery. No advertising networks, affiliate programs, or data brokers are used.

Entry images are served via Next.js's image-optimization proxy from Wikimedia Commons; the origin is not contacted directly by your browser.

The contribution form (/contribute/new) redirects to GitHub to submit an issue; submission uses your GitHub account under GitHub's privacy policy.

This site does not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 13.

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
