Jallianwala Bāgh — where General Dyer ordered 1,650 bullets into a peaceful crowd, killing ~1,000 (Indian count) on Baisakhi 1919. The site is now a memorial — an eternal flame, preserved bullet-holes on walls. Pilgrims visit as patriotic devotion; the 25-ft memorial tower was inaugurated 1961. Adjacent Jallianwala Bagh Museum (2019 centenary).
