[BEGINNER] The Guru Granth Sahib is the central holy scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the eternal Guru (teacher) following the ten historical Sikh Gurus. Compiled by Guru Arjan (the fifth Guru) in 1604 CE at Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar, it contains 1430 pages of divine revelations (shabads) in Punjabi/Gurmukhi script.
