The site is associated with the reign of Maharaja Gulab Singh. The earliest event recorded here is pandava association. Through the centuries, the temple witnessed maharaja gulab singh patronage (19th c.). The Pandavas are said to have built the first temple here.

The Triadic Pindis

The Bulawa

The shrine is believed to grant only those pilgrims whom the Goddess herself calls — "Bulawa" — making the journey both a physical and spiritual summons. Devotees often report feeling an inexplicable pull to visit, which they interpret as the Goddess's call.

Historical Records

References appear in the Mahabharata and Puranas to the Trikuta shrine. Nineteenth-century land grants from Maharaja Gulab Singh are recorded in Dogri and Persian, showing continuous patronage.
