Sarnaism / Bhumij - Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Jharkhand (22.53°N, 85.82°E) The Bhumij (~2 million) of Jharkhand and adjoining West Bengal worship Budhā Māthā (elderly mother) as the protector of the village. Her shrine is an aniconic pot. Annual Sarhul in March–April and Manasa Pūjā in Śrāvaṇa.
