Where the Archer Laid Down His Bow
The shrine tradition assigns to Arjuna stands at Thiruvanvandoor: its Lord is Pambanaiappan — he who reclines upon the serpent. There is a quiet poetry in the pairing: the archer whose hands never stopped trembling after the war entrusted his burden to a God resting on the very coil of eternity. The warrior found his peace in the posture of perfect rest.
