Sringeri Sharada Peetham in Karnataka is one of the four most important Advaita Vedanta monasteries established by Adi Shankaracharya. Founded in the 8th century CE, it is dedicated to the goddess Sharada (Saraswati) and houses one of the Shakti Peethas. The temple complex includes the Sharada temple, Vidyaranya temple, and the math where numerous scholars have studied.
