Danteśvari satellite shrine of Bastar
Hindu / Shakta / Tribal / Bastari
The Dantewada Danteśvari temple (danteshwari-dantewada) has 500+ satellite shrines across Bastar and Bastar-ex-kingdom territories. Bhānu Pratāppur is one principal satellite. During the 75-day Bastar Dasarā, the goddess's chariot visits this and 32 other satellite shrines in a rolling circuit. Each village performs its own annual devī-yātrā, featuring tribal dance (Gaur Mariā, Dhol-Dasarā).
India's sacred landscape embraces all faith-traditions — Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Jewish, Zoroastrian, tribal, regional-folk — each with its own cosmology. This entry honors Hindu on its own terms.
