Ghṛṣṇeśvara is the twelfth and final Jyotirlinga, beside the world-famous Ellora Caves. The temple dates from the 17th c. (Ahilyabai Holkar patronage) and is one of the smaller Jyotirlinga shrines, but is the concluding visit in any Dvādaśa Jyotirlinga Yātrā pilgrimage.
