Gokaráša Mahabaleshwara houses the Ätma-liáš ga that RÄvaáša was carrying from Kailash to Lanka. When GaneĹa (disguised as a boy) tricked him into setting it down, the liáš ga sank partly into the earth. RÄvaáša tried to pull it out, leaving it twisted (called MahÄ-balÄ-lÄŤáš ga = "great-power-liáš ga"). One of the most sacred Shiva-liáš gas â pilgrimage equal to Kailash itself per tradition.
