Hemphu
Hemphu and Mukrang are the creator-dyad of the Karbi people of Assam. The annual Rongker festival (May–June) is the village-level renewal ritual; the Chojun (rain festival) invokes Hemphu-Mukrang to send rains for the rice crop.
