Kedar-Gaurī Temple at Bhubaneshwar is among the oldest surviving — an early 11th c. Shiva-Shakti joint shrine. The sculpted panels show Ardhanārīśvara (half Shiva / half Pārvatī). The shrine is a pre-Liṅgarāja Kesari-dynasty monument. Pilgrims also visit the adjoining Bindu-sāgar tank.
