Hindu / Saura - Konark, Puri, Odisha (19.8876°N, 86.0945°E) Konarak Sūrya Temple (1250 CE) — UNESCO World Heritage. Designed as Sūrya's chariot with 12 pairs of wheels (representing hours), 7 horses (week-days). The 70-m tower fell in the 18th century but the 30-m Natya Mandapa survives. No daily worship today but stands as one of India's greatest architectural achievements. The Maghā-saptamī (February) rath-yātra of Sūrya is celebrated symbolically.
