Lingaraja

Lingaraj is the principal Shaiva deity of Bhubaneswar — the Ekāmra-kṣetra. Uniquely, the Liṅga here is worshipped as Harihara (half-Shiva, half-Vishnu), making the shrine a rare joint-sectarian site. Lingaraj is uniquely installed in both Shaiva (linga) and Vaishnava (as Harihara — combined form) traditions.
