Mahakaleshwar Ujjain
Third of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The only Jyotirlinga facing south (unique iconographic feature). Famous for the pre-dawn Bhasma Aarti — the deity is anointed with ash from a cremation ground every morning, a ritual unique to this temple.
