Jongban

Jongbā Raṅtharam is the supreme being of the Nocte tribe. Intermediate spirits (bhupwang) mediate between humans and Jongbā. Buddhism (via Khamti and Tibetan influence) and Christianity have reshaped traditional Nocte religion dramatically in the 20th century.
