Hindu / Konkani / Shakta - Quela (Kaulem), South Goa, Goa (15.3833°N, 74.0167°E) Śāntā-Durgā of Quela (Kaulem village, south Goa) is the principal goddess-temple of Goa's Hindu community. Temple was moved here from Quelossim (Portuguese-colonial-era) to protect from iconoclasm. The current 1738 structure is renowned for its Indo-Portuguese baroque dome atop a traditional śikhara. Annual jātra in Māgha (January–February) draws pilgrims from Goan diaspora worldwide.
