Raghunathji (रघुनाथजी) is the presiding deity of Kullu town, brought from Ayodhya in ancient times. The main Raghunath temple in Kullu is the most important Vaishnava temple in the valley.
The idol is believed to have been installed in Kullu by a ruler who brought it from Ayodhya. The deity is particularly worshipped during Dussehra.
The Raghunath temple complex has multiple shrines. The main deity is Lord Rama with Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman.
