The Kalārām Mandir at Panchavaṭī, Nashik, preserves the most famous "Rām-Darbār" (Ram + Sita + Lakshmana + Hanuman) of Maharashtra. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar led the famous Kalāram Mandir protest (1930) for Dalit entry — after which the temple allowed all devotees.
