Renuka (Marathi: रेणुका; Kannada: ಯಲ್ಲಮ್ಮ Yellamma; Telugu: ఎల్లమ్మ Ellamma) is worshipped across the Deccan as two intertwined figures: the Puranic Renuka, wife of the sage Jamadagni and mother of Parashurama; and the popular folk goddess Yellamma / Ellamma, "mother of all," whose cult centres at Saundatti in Karnataka and Mahur in Maharashtra draw some of the largest goddess-fairs in India.
