Hindu / Shaiva / Ayyappa - Thiruvegappura, Palakkad, Kerala (10.75°N, 76.25°E) Thiruvegappura Sastha is one of the ancient Sastha shrines of Kerala — predating Sabarimala. The 13th-c. wooden architecture is intact; the Dhvaja-stambha (flagstaff) is famous for carved depictions of 108 Sastha incarnations.
