The Brahma Sutras (ब्रह्म सूत्र), also known as the Vedanta Sutras, are a Sanskrit text of approximately 555 aphorisms (sutras) attributed to Vyasa (compiler of the Vedas and Puranas). They systematize the teachings of the Upanishads into a logical framework — hence the subtitle "系统性哲学" (systematic philosophy).
