Sacred Narrative
The 5 Pañca-Bhūta Sthala-s are the temples where Shiva manifests as the 5 elements: Ākāśa (ether) at Chidambaram, Vāyu (air) at Kalahasti, Agni (fire) at Arunachaleshwar, Appu (water) at Tiruvanaikka, Pṛthvī (earth) at Kanchi Ekambareshwar. Each has its own Divya Desam-style prominence and is already documented individually.
