Bijli Mahadev (बिजली महादेव) is a unique form of Shiva worshipped as the god of lightning. Located in Kullu near the Beas river, this lingam is said to be struck by lightning annually.
It is believed that during storms, lightning strikes the lingam, which is then re-consecrated. Devotees gather to witness this event.
