Jwalamukhi (ज्वालामुखी) is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India, located in Kangra district. The goddess manifests as flames from the earth, with no idol.
According to mythology, when Sati's body parts fell here during Vishnu's discus cutting, the region became a powerful Shakti Peeth. Flames emerge naturally from the rocks.
