Kalimath (कलिमठ) is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, located in Rudraprayag district. It is believed to be the place where Sati's upper lip fell.
According to legend, Sati's upper lip (oshtha) fell here, making it a powerful Shakti Peeth. The temple is at the base of the peak.
