Mahasu Devta (महासू देवता) is the principal deity of Jaunsar-Bawar region in Dehradun district, Uttarakhand. He is worshipped in a unique double form (Mahu and Mahasi).
Mahasu is believed to be an ancient deity of the Jaunsar tribe. His cult involves complex rituals including animal sacrifice.
