Sant Nāmdev (1270–1350) — tailor-saint of Pandharpur whose 2,000 abhangs form the core of the Vārkarī tradition. He traveled to Punjab and spent 20 years there — 61 of his verses are in the Ādi Granth (Sikh scripture). His Paḍukā (wooden sandals) at Pandharpur are reverentially kept.
