BhÄ«maÅaį¹ kara ā 6th of the 12 Jyotirlingas ā sits at the source of the BhÄ«mÄ river in the Sahyadri mountains of Maharashtra. The SarasvatÄ«-kuį¹įøa adjoining is believed to be the source of the SarasvatÄ«. The area is surrounded by the BhÄ«mÄÅaį¹ kar Wildlife Sanctuary (Indian giant squirrel habitat). The temple is a NÄgara-style 13th-c. YÄdava structure.
