One of 51 Śakti Pīṭhas. The tantric-mahavidya cemetery-temple where Bamakhepa (1837–1911), Ramakrishna's contemporary, practised aghora for 60 years. Tara is worshipped as the primordial black-stone image dating back over 1000 years.
