Kannaki Amman (கன்னகி அம்மன்) is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, heroined from the epic Silappadikaram.
In the Tamil epic Silappadikaram, Kannaki is a virtuous woman whose husband was wrongly accused. She proved his innocence and cursed the city, becoming a goddess.
