Akshardham Mandir (2005, Delhi) — World's largest Hindu temple complex, 100 acres, 234 pillars, no steel structural material used. Dedicated to Bhagwān Svāmīnārāyaṇ (1781–1830) — the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampradāya. The temple is a modern achievement following traditional Vastu-śāstra and Pāñcarātra specifications. Daily ~50,000 visitors. Water-show and Indian history musical are evening attractions.
