Kokkamangalam Church
The Midway Church
Halfway through the seven comes Kokkamangalam โ where tradition says Thomas stayed longest: a full year of preaching on the Vembanad shore, sixteen hundred baptisms, a lakeside congregation. The present parish church (1900) stands on the ancient ground; the proof of continuity floats โ literally โ at Pallippuram, where the felled cross drifted and rests.
