Aṣṭavināyaka — 8 Ganesha pilgrimage of Maharashtra
The Aṣṭavināyaka pilgrimage connects 8 svayam-bhū Ganesha temples in western Maharashtra: Mayūreśvar (Morgaon), Siddhivināyak (Siddhatek), Bhallāleśvar (Pali), Varadvinayak (Mahad), Chintamani (Theur), Girijatmaja (Lenyadri), Vighneśvar (Ozar), Mahāgaṇapati (Ranjangaon). Traditional pilgrimage order starts and ends at Morgaon. All 8 temples can be covered in 3–5 days. The 8 together represent the complete theological expression of Ganesha in regional-Hindu practice.
Daily aarati (dawn + dusk); abhisheka; flower and coconut offerings; evening deepa-dhyana. Annual festival features procession, special darshan, distribution of prasadam, and gathering of community.
