Pānakāla-narasiṁha of Maṅgaḷagiri
Hindu / Vaishnava
Maṅgaḷagiri ("auspicious mountain") — Narasimha is housed in a temple atop a 500-step hill. Unique: the deity "drinks" sugar-water (pānakam) — pilgrims pour jaggery-water into the deity's mouth-aperture; half is said to remain inside forever.
