Jain / Digambara - Shravanabelagola, Hassan, Karnataka (12.8572°N, 76.4883°E) Bhareteśvara (Emperor Bharata) — elder brother of Bāhubali, first cakravartī (universal emperor) of the Jain tradition — is worshipped at the Chandragiri hill of Shravanabelagola. His shrine is quieter than Bāhubali's but theologically foundational: he is the emperor whose spiritual renunciation inspired Bāhubali.
