Ghaṇṭākarṇ Mahāvīr at Māhuḍī is a unique Jain yakṣa (guardian-deity) shrine. The devotee offers a sukhaḍī (wheat-sweet); the yakṣa is invoked for wealth and business-prosperity. The shrine draws over 1 lakh pilgrims on Kārtika Kṛṣṇa Caturdaśī (the darkest night before Diwali).
